Sanur is an up market resort area and beach-side town on the east coast of South Bali, Indonesia. The area is home to a number of luxury resorts such as the Medina and Bali Hyatt.
Sanur has many cultural, natural and historical attractions, excellent shopping and a variety of water sport opportunities. A popular attraction is the International Kite Festival held every July just north of Sanur. Traditional Balinese giant kites up to 10 metres in length are made and flown competitively by teams from different villages around Bali.
