Tel Aviv is the second largest city in Israel (after Jerusalem), and the largest metropolitan area. It is on the Mediterranean coast, about 60 km north-west of Jerusalem. Transport Links - The main airport serving Tel Aviv is Ben Gurion International Airport . Located in the neighboring city of Lod, it is the main airport of Israel, handling over 12 million passengers in 2010. The airport is 15 kilometres (9 mi) southeast of Tel Aviv.

The New Central Bus Station in southern Tel Aviv ("Tahana Merkazit") offers routes servicing most locations in Israel. It is located within a short walking distance of the HaHaganah Train Station.

Train services connect Tel Aviv to Haifa and Beer-Sheva, as well as numerous smaller towns whilst a direct train line connects Tel Aviv to Ben-Gurion airport.
